2011 Gelding Holsteiner/Thoroughbred by Chablis IZ
His sire, the Holsteiner stallion Chablis IZ (Corrado I) was licensed in 2004 by the Holsteiner Verband. Sire Charblis I Z has top quality proven bloodlines, stallions, Calando I, Landgraf I, Calypso I, truly superior breeding.Chablis IZ has shown to 1.40m in the jumpers in Ontario and California.
His dam is an all black thoroughbred mare Ebony Rumor who was imported from the US and came from a paint appendix breeder in Texas. The mare had also been used in an Irish sport horse breeding program and consistently produces good quality foals.
He has had a saddle on several times, and been sat on but has yet to be sent away for under saddle training as his owner has been working out of town the past few years
He was born black but is now grey. He has correct straight legs and good conformation. Moves very well.
In 2013 Lex led, tied, blankets, and picked up his feet. He is a talented yet sensible colt with already apparent jumping ability. We changed his paddock mate in the late summer 2012 to a gelding he did not prefer and he cleared the 5 foot mesh fence of his paddock to go visit with his dam. We gave him back his shetland pony paddock mate and he has not chosen to leave the confines of his paddock enclosure. He has never suffered any injuries illness or lameness.

I will be adding additional photos of colt as he grows as his appearance changes as he grows. There are a few white hairs becoming evident in his coat.
